🎉 2026: 35 Years of Legal Nudity at Haulover
In July 1991, Miami-Dade County officially designated the north end of Haulover Beach Park as clothing-optional. Thirty-five years later, it's the most famous legal nude beach in the United States.
Then: 1991
A small group of Free Beach advocates worked with the county to designate a 0.4-mile stretch of sand. Most people thought it wouldn't last a summer.
Now: 2026
Hundreds of thousands of visitors a year, worldwide rankings, and a community that spans every age, shape, and continent. The experiment became an institution.

Haulover doesn't need a party to be worth visiting, but these are the moments the community circles on the calendar every year.
☀️ July: Nude Recreation Week
The nudist world's biggest annual awareness week, celebrated at beaches, resorts, and clubs across the country every July. At Haulover it's simply the busiest, most festive stretch of summer.
🏊 July: International Skinny Dip Day
A worldwide invitation to try swimming the way nature intended, held each July. If you've been waiting for an excuse for your first visit, this is the friendliest day of the year to take it.
🎆 Holiday Weekends
Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day are Haulover at full volume: thousands of visitors, big energy, and a packed lot by 9 AM. Read the parking guide before you go.
❄️ January to March: Snowbird Season
Peak season for our northern friends and international visitors. The beach hums every single day, the weather is perfect, and the people-watching (respectfully) is world class.
🌅 New Year's Day
Starting the year with a swim and no tan lines is a Haulover tradition. Expect a cheerful crowd and water around 70°F. Bracing, briefly.
